Sonya is a gracious and helpful nutritionist, who wants you to succeed. She works with you in the context of G-plans to help you plan your goals and work your way toward them. She is motivating and will work with your needs and listens to your feedback. I have lost weight with Sonya and would definitely recommend working with her. I have worked with other nutritionists in the past and I think her advice is the best. I believe in the science and nutrition of G-plans and have found it to be the most feasible long-term weight loss plan I have ever come across. Sonya does a wonderful job of explaining the program and she lives by it as well, so she knows it throughly. Before Managed Plans I was struggling with understanding how I could tailor this program to my life and my health issues. Melissa was a fantastic mentor! As I came across challenges I had complete access to her to get questions answered and to keep me going. She turned what initially was a diet into a lifestyle by encouraging me, educating me, and holding me accountable. She changed my relationship with food and now I look at it as nurturing my body, not being afraid to eat, while still seeing results in a healthy time period. I am so happy I found GPlans! It’s was a great experience for me, especially working with Melissa. I needed something to keep me on track and be accountable so this was the perfect answer to help me get on track to lose weight and feel better. I liked having weekly appointments to check in so that I could let Melissa know my progress and ask questions about ingredients and certain foods if I was unsure, she was so knowledgeable and helpful with follow up emails and suggestions for alternatives and ways to handle situations if I was out for dinner or traveling. From the time I spent with Melissa, I feel stronger and healthier and confident to make healthier decisions. G-Plan has been a big lifestyle change for me, and it's unlike any other diet/meal plan I've ever been on. I always feel like I'm getting more than enough to eat, and it has drastically changed my understanding of food and nutrition. I also love that I get to talk to Melissa at least once a week, which makes me feel like I'm not doing this alone. The app is easy to use, and shows the exact portions of food I need to eat to have a balanced meal. I can substitute foods easily to reflect what I'm eating, and I can also track my water intake throughout the day on the app too. This is the first time I'm losing weight in a healthy and sustainable way, and I finally feel like I can keep it off.

I started working with Melissa two months ago, on November 1st. 2017, and I have lost 6.2 kg since then in a way both manageable and sustainable. However, what I really appreciate of working with her (apart from the weight loss) is how easily she combines pragmatic advice with nutritional insight, a very nourishing combo. Managed Plans delivers results and allows me to make informed and tailored changes to my needs and the way I eat. I am not scared of food anymore, I understand how my body works with it and the most efficient and healthy manner to organise my diet. Before I met Melissa, I tried different diet and nutritional approaches (Pronokal, Bright Line Eating, Metabolic Typing, a ketogenic diet) that left me not only with more weight (the infamous “yo-yo effect” of dieting), but also rather confused and wary of food. Some plans were a clear a mismatch for my metabolism from the very beginning, but I was told by the “experts" to keep going and exercise my will despite the clear warning signs from my body. Other plans gave me spectacular initial results, but soon afterwards it became apparent they were not sustainable in the long run. With Melissa I got balance: my weight loss is steady and my diet satisfying and easy to maintain as it has been designed for (and by) my metabolic type. In the process, I am learning to hear and interpret the signals from my body, making adjustments in my eating if necessary with confidence and knowledge, and I am very grateful for that.
